Iris Lee

DR. IRIS Y. LEE

LAc., MS

Acupuncturist & Herbalist

Hours by appointment

Iris was born and raised in South Korea, where traditional methods of medicine, such as acupuncture and herbal remedies, are widely accepted as mainstream treatments. Her early exposure to natural medicine sparked her interest in the field from a young age. As she grew older, Iris found that acupuncture was particularly helpful in treating her chronic health issues, which further fueled her passion for natural medicine. After completing her bachelor’s degree, Iris decided to pursue acupuncture as a career and immediately fell in love with this ancient medicine. She obtained her Master of Science in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in 2012 and graduated with honors. Currently, she is pursuing her doctoral degree in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine.

Since she began practicing in 2013, Iris has gained diverse clinical experiences in different settings, including pain management, digestive disorders, headaches, sleep disorders, skin disorders, mental illness, and autoimmune disease. However, her personal experience of overcoming infertility naturally with acupuncture and herbs ignited her passion for women’s health and fertility. As a former infertility warrior, Iris is dedicated to helping other couples have a baby and has decided to specialize in fertility health and women’s wellness.

Iris believes that fertility can be achieved by identifying and treating the underlying causes. She understands that it’s not just about the reproductive system, but about the overall physical and mental balance of the body. Iris acknowledges that the reproductive functions of the body are interconnected with other systems, and true healing occurs when the body and mind are in good health. Therefore, Iris focuses on balancing the entire body system to restore reproductive functions. She offers lifestyle coaching and educational seminars, as well as acupuncture and herbal treatments, to help her patients achieve optimal health conditions before conceiving. In addition, Iris is a passionate writer and instructor who provides continuing education to her fellow acupuncturists.

When she is not working, Iris loves spending time outdoors and with her family, particularly with her two boys. Her favorite hobbies include reading good books, playing piano and tennis, gardening, and cooking new healthy recipes.
